My brother Phil bought this ute off a mate. It had just been thrown together and had done a few K’s, which meant it was time for an overhaul.

Every part of this ute has been rebuilt including all new bushes, brakes, spindles ,exedy hd clutch, rebuilt W series box, re-bearinged and shimmed LSD. The utes been lowered with drop spindles up front to keep the 18×8 front rims tucked-up nicely, while they cover a massive disk and 4 pot calliper setup. Reset and tensioned leaf springs in the rear help hide the 18×9.5 rear rims and help the 1uzfe v8 and 5speed fight for some traction.

SDP custom front inner guards with removable inners make the engine easy access at any time. Phil fully rewired the truck to sort out years of dodgy wiring and loose joiners. While at it I also installed new braided fuel lines, a walbro pump and a half inch pick up in the tank to keep that v8 feed at full noise.

As you can imagine this truck is heaps of fun. Phil uses it as his daily driver and enjoys every moment of it.
