Ross’s RX7 Race car is now equipped with a SDPCUSTOM Vortech supercharger setup…

Ross came into SDP with an already well setup FD3S RX7 race car, but with a hunger for more power he also dropped it off with a massive Vortech supercharger.

With no readily available “bolt on” kits for the 1UZ and the need to be different the task was set to make a custom bracket. And well, the results speak for themselves…

The alloy bracket above shows the recessed mounting holes due to space constraints, while the pic below is of the custom made breather tank.

The complete custom setup consists of:

– A 4 inch air intake
– Front mount intercooler tucked behind the front bar
– Custom made intake piping from plenum and supercharger
– Voretch blow off valve
– Remote oil filler
– Custom made breather tank

This thing will be a monster on the track that’s for sure! Stay tuned for the HP results once this thing is dyno tuned.
